School Support Services

Schools and staff are able to access in-school professional development programmes through the School Support Services contracts. These are funded by the Ministry of Education to provide national and regionally targeted professional development and support to meet schools' identified needs. The support covers professional learning in literacy and numeracy, leadership, the New Zealand curriculum, and a number of other programmes and initiatives including gifted and talented, education for sustainability, provisionally registered and overseas trained teachers and Māori-medium support.
